Jane Houchins
My first trip to Walt Disney World was in June of 1973. I remember the book of attraction tickets and wishing we had more E tickets so I could ride Space Mountain again. As a college student our choir was able to sing in the park and go behind the gates. Later, I chaperoned my son’s band as they played and marched through the Magic Kingdom. I loved showing the students how to get the most of their time in the park as well as making the most of their dining passes. As a teacher, I have had my students create vacation packages as if they were travel agents. I enjoyed teaching them how to create itineraries and how to make the best of their client’s time and resources. When you have spent your well earned money to create memories for your family you want to know that your time and money are being used to their fullest.
Having taught for 28 years I am quite familiar with planning trips for large groups of people. Field trips, overnight trips, and booking excursions are not unfamiliar to me. If you have a group, whether it be a school group, church group, girl trip, or a family get-away, I would love to help you plan all the details to make your adventure the best it can be.
